Yummy..

Semla!
After I ate it.

Before I ate it, bacon, blood pudding, and lingonberry jelly.

Cooking the blood pudding.

Doesn't it just look interesting.

The small lake created by the melting ice, in the middle of a parking lot.

Jesper.

Me and Hugo!

Jocke, my special teacher guy, he's like in charge of my class along with another teacher.

Diyar, he's special.

Hugo boss.

I made this with pen ink ;)

School semla

the weather!

Fett tisdag, semlorsdagen, kram dag, and something else. This day was big and had a lot of names, that's all I know :D I woke up and went to school. Played around in PE, went and chilled in English class. Just did what I do. Lunch time, there was a ridiculous ammount of people in our cafeteria, I don't know why totally but there was absolutely no place to sit. That meant that I didn't get to eat lunch :( luckily though I did get to eat my semla that the school gave me and I can say that was delicious. One of my friends in class had some fun with my camera and took a bunch of pictures, so all of you can see who I spend my days with! I came home right after school and chilled out some more. It was a nice chill day and I had a good time, I took a little longer route when I came home so I could walk a little just because it was nice! Gunn was a very very nice lady to me and bought some blood pudding from the store :D I said how I hadn't tried it yet and that I wanted to and she got it for me! I was the only one who wanted to eat it and so I ate a bunch of it but it was actually really delicious. I liked it a lot and I will definately eat it again if I get the chance. We ate good semlor and then just relaxed. Always a goo day :D!!!!!!!!!!

Monday. måndag.

Finished product.

Ronja and kind of Caisa on the right side!

So this was the Monday after my trip, I didn't do much, just went to school like normal and had a good time there. When I came home Ijust totally relaxed, wrote in my blog a little and watched some tv. It is always good to have those days and I can say that nothing interesting happened really in the day, just good to be alive and to be doing it here in Sweden! Gunn came home with stuff to make semlor, a semla is a special Swedisht thing that is basically just a bun with cream and almond filling in it. However the so called "fat Tuesday" in the US is also called "semla's day" in Sweden. We made them after dinner, we being, Caisa, Ronja and I, we also made them with Nutella instead of almond cream, they were good though, really good. Monday was a very nice chill day for me :D

Time to return to Örebro...

The Pringles, there is on normal salt and vinegar ones, this is the closest thing but they're good too.
The castle!

Västerås from the ice.

Ok this is cool. This is a room that is under the water. You can rent it out in the summer, it's like a hotel room I guess, I would really like to see what it's like under there. This is just how you get into it, you climb down a little hole in the bottom, we looked in the windows.

Sun... From the ice.

The Västeråsians, this is a path that you can skate on or do whatever on, the have this in Örebro too I've just never been out there.

Broken ice.

Oh yes, modlin it out ;)

I don't know what's up with this picture.

This one does have everything on the table on it.

This is like a pancake sandwich that has almost everything on the table on it :D

Before.

Mmmm.

Yummyness.

Graeme doing work.

Sunday started off with American pancake's, oh yes, I said American pancakes. I guess Graeme had made them before and it went well and so when he talked about it Jacqui and I got it in our heads that we had to eat American pancakes. When we woke up at an all to early time of 1pm we started with the project. We looked up the recipe online and it went really fast, from internet to batter in the bowl it only took about 10 minutes! Graeme started grilling them up and everybody else set the table and put out some different things to put on them. I have to say Graeme is the pancake master, he did quite well while cooking them and I was very impressed. We are pretty slow in doing things and it was already late in the day so when we finally left the house I took my backpack with me so that we wouldn't be struggling to make it to the bus station on time. Rasmus father, Jalle, had been out on the ice to ride his bike earlier in the day and talked about how nice the weather was and everything so we decided to go and check it out. I guess it was Alexa's first time there and it was my first time on ice like that in my entire life, so that was a fun experience. We walked out to this little house thing and just messed around, threw snowballs and stuff like that :D just chillin out like they do it in Västerås. It was really pretty out there on the ice and I really enjoyed the nice weather and good company. We walked back into town and then they all waited with me for my bus, nice people. On the way home I sat next to a man from Pakistan going to college here in Sweden, it was an interesting talk. I got off in Örebro and had some chill time while I was waiting for the bus, I bought some pringles :D When I made it home I met Gunn and talked with her about her weekend as well as ate some delicious soup. It was a good day and I was very happy with my trip to Västerås and I was also happy to be home in Örebro.

Saturday, the BIG BirthDAY!

Corbin with his ridiculously delicious birthday brownies!
Yummy birthday soup I think Johanna's mom made.

Riding the bus, these one's are different from the Örebro ones!

Up in a really tall elevator that you can take in Västerås... Fun fun fun...

The view from that elevator :D

Jacqui opening stuff!

The delicious, creamy, cake that we ate right after breakfast, it was awesome.

Breakfast, eggs, bacon, coffee, and toast, unfortunately I ate most of it before I thought of taking the picture :P

The breakfast table :D

The Cake.

Jacqui in bed and stuff :D

Saturday, it was Jacqui's birthday, she's in Sweden, she has an awesome host family so of course we're all going to wake up early and go sing to her! We all went into Jacqui's room and sang and woke her up with a cake and presents. I feel bad still because I didn't get her anything for her birthday but maybe I can hit her up with something the next time I see her. The Sobel's, her host family, sang the birthday song extraordinarily well and I joined in too because I know it and it's a fun song to sing! After that most everybody helped making breakfast, and it was very delicious. After that we had other present time for all of Jacqui's boxes that came from Australia. I think it's cool how the Swedish people get to open their presents as soon as they get them, takes the stress off of present time when everybody is watching you! Jacqui had a few of us watching her though when she opened her presents from Australia. The guys, Rasmus and Graeme, and I watched some funny video's on youtube while the girls were getting ready and then we all went into town together. Rasmus had to get a haircut and so we all went and after the haircut we just walked around a little bit and chilled out, I saw a friend from Örebro, Adam, when we were walking around it was funny. While waiting for the bus Rasmus and I walked up very tiny down escalator for like 15 minutes 1: because it was fun 2: we had to wait for a bus 3: there was no one going on it anyway because if you took the stairs it was like 4 steps and 4: because I hadn't done that since I was a little kid. We took a bus out to visit some of the other exchange students and attempted to bake a cake for the party we were going to later that night. Unfortunately though the girls that had the cake "left it on the bus" and so it never got to the party. After seeing the other exchange student's we got a ride from Rasmus dad to the party for Jacqui and Johanna's birthday! Johanna is Corbin's friend and the party was at her house, this party as also my reason for visiting Västerås in the first place. It was a lot of fun! I met a bunch of kids and had a good time just kinda hanging out with everyone! Thank's Corbin and Johanna for the invite! After the party, Rasmus, Jacqui, Graeme and I walked back to the house and chilled for a little bit before going to sleep. It was a really fun day :D
