Idag var en bra dag.
I didn't do much today, I went to school at nine but I didn't really go to the school, I went to the movie theatre. We went to watch a movie at the school today for some class, I'm not even sure what class it was for but it was called "Precious" and it was based on a book. After that I went to school and filmed my Romeo and Juliet movie with the other kids in my group and that was pretty fun! We did that for a few hours and then I came home and slept/watched TV for a few hours. When Andreas came home I helped him make a little dinner and then we went to innebandy. It was an average day today!

Idag.
Today was a good day, simple and straight forward. This morning I woke up and to me it looked like it could be anytime between midnight and four a.m. but, no it was in fact seven o' clock and time for me to get up, so yes that was dissapointing and the toughest part of my day. I woke upand right away went for the food, I had some musli with fil and that started me off good. When Andreas brought in the paper I checked it out and, I found myself. The article that had been written on me in the past week. It is exciting to be in the paper, sort of, and I felt special because this wasn't the Lakeview Examiner, this paper reaches a little over 130,000 people and a lot of them actually read the paper. I went to school and within my first minute in the building two people mentioned that they had seen me in the paper. The first class I had was just a lecture on taking care of the human body and I think he was a doctor talking to us, pretty cool. After that I just had school and I worked out, like every week day. I came home and waited for Ingela to come home so we could go pick up my box. My dad sent me a box a few weeks ago and I knew it was big so I had to get a ride to go pick it up. It was a great box with some wrapped up christmas presents that I won't open until christmas and a lot of other good stuff. He sent me some long underwear and some warm shirts, I really need those, some long socks too just to make things great. He also sent me the comforts of home, food, good food, American food, candy mostly because it is hard to ship actual food. So that made things really great today, a box from home is always appreciated :D. Therefore it was a good day and good days are always good.

Chika yeah, Chika yeah yeah
This is the wood, bundled and pre-cut.
This is the guy that sold us the wood, I was to scared to take a picture while he was looking.
This is Julia and her mom, eating some cake!
Great fika.
Me riding the bus at about midnight.
The guys doing Pirates of the Caribbean, none of them had shirts.
Jazz music.
Half of the football stands, the other half looked about the same.
The teams playing.
This is what an EXIT sign looks like in Sweden.

Here is the Christmas bread, fun shapes, and the black things are raisins.
Happiness, and focus.
The beginning of the bread.
Peppar kaka!
I made this while I was waiting to use the rolling pin.

The Karro student concert, this kids were really good.
A magician, he didn't stop moving, great tricks though.
Karro has a proffesional recording studio.
My aerobics class, most the kids had left at this point.

I have had a good past few days, actually, I have had a great past few days. I have gotten out of the house and seen a lot of friends, I've really enjoyed it. Here are my stories :P
If you haven't figured this out yet, the pictures go from bottom to top, the pictures on the bottom are from Thursday and then when you get to the top they are from today.
Thursday, you can see in the picture a lot of people in a gym, well this was dancing! I think it was like an aerobics class but no one actually told me that. All second graders in the idrottsprogramet, the sports program, had to go to it, for me it replaced English class. That is how I started my Thursday morning off though, I went all out. I danced my heart out, I am only in Sweden for one year so I am going to go all out during the time that I am here. After the dancing it turned out to just be a normal day, nothing special, Swedish and then I worked out and went home. I got home at about 3:30, I knew that Hanna and Ingela were going to visit Karro, the gymnasium that Caitlin goes to, because Hanna has to figure out which gymnasium she wants to go to next year. I got a call from Caitlin and she said I should come too and hang out with her in the music department because there was some cool stuff going on, so I did, why not. I was bored of sitting at home and I needed to get out of the house, I went and chilled with her and some kids from her class. I saw a few really good perfomances, there are a lot of young artists in her program and they were putting on a student show while this "open house" was happening. Sweden is a very musical country, I think, and in Caitlin's school alone there is a lot of talent! That was really fun and I was happy I got out of the house and actually did something, Thursday was a goo day.
Friday, while I was at Karro on Thursday I saw a bunch of kids I know and are pretty good friends with. They were there to support one of their friend's performance, I didn't know him but he was really good, anyway, they invited me to come to the culture night with them. Culture night, or kulturnatten was happing in Örebro on that Friday night, it was a lot of performances, for free, happening all over town. The city also had free busses running between the different places that had performances. So I went into Friday knowing that I was going to go to this and that was a nice feeling, having some plans with friends, yes. I haven't been much of a plan person up till this point in my life, now it seems like I have to have plans for everything, dumheter. Friday was a normal day of school, normal as it gets, I did however find out that a friend from my class was going to watch the american football games. Yes, I said American football games, in Sweden, every year a few gymnasiums participate in a competition of nine on nine american football. I thought that Virginska, my school, was a part of it but I guess not, since I found out about it the day of I couldn't put a team together. They played on a sixty yard field and only 7 minute halves, they were a lot of quick games. Alfred, a friend from my class, told me about it and so I figured I would go to that before I checked out the culture night. On top of all of this, Ingela had been planning to bake with me and Caitlin for a few weeks, Christmas goodies! So I got out of school and rushed home to start the baking. It was awesome, I really enjoy baking and we cut cookies out of peppar kaka dough, like ginger bread cookies but not quite the same, and we made the christmas bread from scratch. Ingela had never made the bread the way we did before and so it was an adventure for all of us, it did turn out ok though. Hanna joined the baking madness as well and we had a pretty fun time :D. It's starting to feel a bit like Christmas, we still have a way to but I am excited for the big day. After I was done baking I took a bus to where the American football was happening and met up with Alfred, he introduced me to a few of his other friends and we had a pretty good time watching the games. It was cold, I mean really cold. The football games in Lakeview get really cold but there are a lot of people in the stands so you don't feel to bad, there was nobody in the stands. Not to many people are interested in American football here. We still had a good time even though we didn't stay to the end, it was just to cold. I left my house at 19:00 and got to the fields at about 20:00 and stayed there until almost 22:00, then I took a bus back into the town and went to attend culture night. I was supposed to meet up with my friends but there were a lot of people and we had a hard time connecting, I saw two girls I know and so I just hung out with them. I only had time to see one band and then an interpretation of Pirates of the Caribbean. The performance, dance, thing, that was the pirates of the Caribbean was awesome, so cool. I don't really know how to describe it but I really enjoyed that. Finally the night was over and I had to go home, I finally met up with the kids I had been trying to meet all night and I talked to them for a little bit. This meant that I had to run about a half a kilometer to get to my bus on time, totally worth it. It was a good night :D.
Saturday I woke up at 10:30, I then said "No,I will not wake up this early on a weekend", and went back to sleep until 13:30. Andreas woke me up because we needed to go to leave for Nora at 14:00. We were going to Nora to celebrate a few birthdays but mainly, Julia's birthday, Julia was turning 1 and she is Ingela's brother's daughter's daughter. We picked up Berit, Ingela's mom, and went to Nora, it takes about an hour to drive and we stopped to buy flowers on the way. I met some more of Ingela's family that I hadn't met before, that was nice, I like my host family. I have a bunch of little cousins in the US so it was cool to see one here :D. I talked to Robin, Julia's dad, and he was a really nice guy. We had a really, really deliciouse home made fika and some birthday cake. We were there for a few hours and then headed back to Örebro, a good day. I helped make some spaghetti type stuff and we ate and then I went to hang out with Caitlin for a little while. We took a fun walk into town, it was fun because it was snowing a little and I played Caitlin's chello (or however you spell chello). I thoroughly enjoyed trying to play the chello, it was fun to "make music" as Caitlin put it, I wouldn't call it music. I biked home and saw some friends I talked to for a bit and that turned out to be a nice night as well. Saturday was an all around good day!
Sunday, today, I woke up at 9 to go get wood with Andreas. They don't use their fireplace as a source of heat really but it's nice to have a little fire every once in a while. We got 12 bundles of wood, it wasn't quite like getting wood back in Lakeview, it was too easy. We went to a man that sells wood and payed for it and then put the 12 bundles in the back of Andreas Volvo and drove home with it, haha. It was interestingly different. We moved stuff around in their carport to make room for the wood and we were done by about 11, a successful morning. I was then on my computer and I was talking to Kajsa, the Ernestam's daughter that is in Australia, and while we were IMing she told me what I was going to have for lunch. I went out to the kitchen and saw that she was skyping with Ingela and Andreas, she's a funny girl. We ate pourage for lunch delicious, delicouls pourage. I guess Kajsa wanted some pourage too because she sat there in the computer and ate lunch with us. The difference between here and Perth is 7 hours, so not to bad. After lunch I started writing in this blog, right then Caitlin called me and told me that she was at the movies with Anita, Anita bought 4 tickets for Caitlin, herself and her two sons and one of her sons wasn't able to make it. I had 10 minutes before the movie started, I threw my clothes on really fast and ran out the door and biked as fast as I could to the theatre, I felt awesome doing it. I got there in about 15 minutes so I didn't miss any movie, just a few coming attractions. It was the new Harry Potter movie and I enjoyed watching it! After the movie Anita took us all to Burger King for a quick dinner before Caitlin had to go to a rehersal. Caitlin left quickly and I sat and talked with Anita and her son for about a half an hour more, they're nice people. I then came home and ate again, Andreas made a really good dinner, it was beef with a taste of apple, really good. I then skyped with my dad and hopefully I will skype with my mom and brother as well, we'll see. Today has been a good day!
