Ok, I thought of doing this and I decided I would try it, video blogging! My laptop has a camera so I am able to do this fairly easily.

TUESDAY

Mmhhhmmm....

Life, it's life now, it's been life for a while but now it's really life. I still get to do a lot of amazing things but I feel like I am settled, actually settled. This is home, at least for the next 9 months, this country these people are my life for the next year and dangit, I'm excited.

Friday night, Friday night was a lot of fun, I rode my bike up town really fast after dinner to meet a date with my mom. She took a picture of me in front of the big fountain in the town square with a webcam. After I did that I ran into a few kids I knew from my basketball class in school and I hung out with them for a little bit. After that I went to the store and got some goodis for the movie, I was all ready to sneak them into the theatre when I found out that it's ok if you bring outside food and drink into the movie theatre here, awesome. I saw a movie in 3-D with a bunch of friends and had a good time, it was a really funny movie. After the movie I just came home and chilled but it was overall a fun night.

Saturday was also a good day! I woke up early to go to the Sape family because all the Ernestams were leaving for the weekend. I ate breakfast with the Ernestams and got to the Sape's about an hour later and ate breakfast again ;D oh yes, the double breakfast! After my second breakfast I went uptown to pay my cell phone bill so I could use it again, it hadn't been active for a week or so. I came back to the Sape's house and chilled for a couple of hours, hung out with Severin, watched TV and played videogames, it was nice. I was simply waiting around to go to watch a handball game. I ate dinner with the Sape's and then went to the handball game. I was meeting a few kids from my class, they play handball but they weren't playing in this game. It was my first time ever I watched a real handball game, it was nice to watch it with my friends because they explained it to me, handball is an interesting game. After the game we went to Max and they ate, we just chilled for a little bit in the Max. We were now waiting for the previously planned poker night to start. They had planned a poker night a while back and invited me. We played poker for about an hour and a half before I had to leave to go to Henrik's second birthday party. I guess they played poker untill 1:30am,I left at about 8:30. When I left though, I was winning! We were playing for money but since I didn't stay untill the end I didn't get any money. I went to Henrik's second birthday party and met a lot of people. The first party I went to was all about the family and this one was all about the friends. I actually met one guy there that played in the handball game I had watched earlier that day, imagine the odds. I also met a guy that had gone on exchange to Australia a few years back and is now heading to Thailand at the end of this month to train in boxing for the next six months, who know, that could be me in a few years! It was a good night and we got home pretty late but that's ok, it was a lot of fun, Saturday was a great day.

Sunday! Today, it has been a funny, crazy day. I starte off waking up a little after 9am. I slept on the floor of Severin's bedroom and we had to wake up so early because William, he spent the night too, and Sev had to go shooting for their hunting license course. Before breakfast I helped out in carving a pumpkin by drawing half the face, William drew the other half, it was a great pumpkin! We had breakfast and then I went with Eva and Carl to their summer house to bring up their boat for the winter. Right after we did that we went to a dairy farm of another man I know, just to look around. It was an amazing farm, truly revolutionary. He has 700 dairy cows and a staff of 17 and all the cows get milked each day. He uses machines wherever he can to keep things as efficient as possible. It was really fun to look at the farm actually. We also got to look at a really old house that is on the property of the farm, it's actually more of a mansion. It was first built in the 1300's and they just kept adding to it but now it is absolutely huge. I think it is my dream house, really cool and I truly enjoyed looking around. We went for fika at Anders', the man who owns the dairy farm's, house and we ate smorgås torta, a sandwich cake. It was awesome, it really was a sandwich cake. I came home and went to the cemetary with the Ernestam's to light some candles for All Saints Day. On all saints day people go to the graves of their loved ones and light candles to remember them. It has been a great weekend that I have truly enjoyed, Sweden is great!!!
