Well, I finally got here, it's been a long journey. Everything leading up to this point has been preparation now it's time for me to act! My rule for this exchange is to never say nej (no) to any opportunity I get. Everything that is offered to me will be an experience and if I say no, then why am I here?
From the time I left my fathers house in Ferndale to the time I arrived here at home In 'O'rebro was 23 and 1/2 hours. Yes, alot of time. I didn't sleep the entire time because I was just so excited, I think I had that right to be excited. I didn't go to sleep until I had been up for more then 30 hours, then I woke up six hours later and couldn't sleep. Luckily enough for me I am not tired so I guess I'm not really feeling the jet lag. My host family said that it's easier for them to go to the states and deal with the time difference then it is for them to come back.
The Ernestams!! My first host family. They are really amazingly nice people. I have been in contect with my mother Ingela for a few months now and she's as sweet in person as she is over the internet. My father Andreas I have not had any contact with until I saw him at the airport yesterday but he to is a very nice man. Hanna is also very nice, she wants to practice her english but it seems right now she is a little shy. I understand where she's coming from, she suddenly has a brother when she has never had one before. We did the first night questions from Rotary and I have no problems with any of their rules. They have expressed that communication is important to their family life and for that I am glad. I really believe that this year is going to be good for my growth as a person.
P.S. The Ernestams house is amazing, I will have alot of fun here!
