Off to Västerås!

We had chocolate fondue for dessert......MMMMMMMMmmmm.....

While we were singing the happy birthday song I'm sure :D

Jacqui in the movie rental place!

From left to right:Alexa, Rasmus, some guy with a nice beanie, Graeme.

Me playing like a boss.

Thumbs up!

Christos.... That's all I needed to say.

I'd planned to go to Västerås and meet up with my exchange student friends there. I didn't take a bus until 1pm so I did get to go to school and basketball practice a little. I woke up at a nice 6:30am and got on to basketball practice, it was good and I was happy after it was over, it's fun to go and work out. I then went to school to eat lunch and one of my basketball friends, Christos, invited me to play some instruments in the school music place. I don't take music but kids in my class do and my school has a really good music room with lot's of different things to play and possibly the best part is that as a student we're allowed to be in there whenever we just have to get the door unlocked by the teacher :D. Christos showed me how to play some simple songs on the guitar and I had no idea he was that musicly enclined! It was a lot of fun to learn a little song, I liked it. Right after we were done there I headed to the bus station to get on my bus to Västerås! I had been texting one of the exchange students there, Alexa and so I knew she was going to meet me when I got in, and then another one of them, Graeme showed up before Alexa came. I got in like fifteen minutes early and so I decided to make a dramatic scene by standing at the top of the two giant flights of stairs, it was epic. Alexa brought along my friend Rasmus, he's Swedish, and then we alltogether walked into town! We were going to meet up with Jacqui, Corbin and Johanna, Jacqui is one of the two newbies in Västerås, I didn't get the chance to meet the other one over the weekend. We all got together and had coffee and then finally went back to Rasmus, Jacqui and Graeme's house. One of the fun things about going to Västerås is that we don't do a whole lot when I'm there but I always have a lot of fun! Friday night we just had a nice dinner, it was Jacqui's birthday on Saturday and so they did a nice birthday dinner for her! After the dinner we just watched a few movies and hung out together, it was a great day! I just met Jacqui and got to see all of my Västerås friends, I enjoyed it.

Thursday! March 3rd!

Felt very American when I ate it!
I thought, "This is nice"and so I took a picture.

Pauline's great cooking and camera pose haha :D

The newspaper came to take pictures of our house so I decided to take some pictures too!

This is like an inside/outside room in my house here, I like it!

After a great night's sleep I woke up and went to English. We started a speech project that day, I remember that because I was like "I really have to do something here in school now!" it was pretty epic for me. I then went to Swedish B with my classmates because I was feeling advanced that day! I have been going more to classes with my class then the IVSVENSKA I went to before because I feel like my Swedish is improving. After school I went home and hung out with my host mom for about an hour before going back into town to catch the train to Kumla. Kumla is that little city about 20 kilometers outside of Örebro. I met up with Pauline, we had planned to chill and make dinner on this day. It was good chill time with Pauline and make some good food, even though I didn't really do anything. We chilled for a few hours and I got to know her parents a little better so that was a good evening. Just chillin with a few good people, talking and stuff :D. I then came home and chilled at home and ate this stew stuff that my host mom Gunn made, it was good stuff and it felt American! It was a good chill day, nothing more, nothing less.

Brianna goes home...

More good times!

Funn :D

On the walk home!

Caisa and Brianna, on horses and stuff.

In the snow!

Brianna o Gulliver, Ronja's horse.

It was a Wednesday, a good day for me like always because I get to play some basketball and go eat a good lunch. I wasn't sure what to do with Brianna so she slept in, a long time, lucky her. I went to practice and to the lunch and it was delicious as always, good food great way to start the day and everything. I took the bus home and chilled with Brianna while we waited for Caisa and Ronja to come home to go to the horses again. In that time we just chilled and took some pictures with my computer, Caisa and Ronja came home and then we all went to the stables together! I decided to ride a little bit this day and so I did for like 15 minutes, it was pretty chill, just riding a horse, I liked it! I got to ride inside and when Brianna got on some people came into the riding area place and so we had to go outside, luckily it was really pretty outside! Pretty cold though and so that wasn't so fun. Brianna and I decided to walk back to my house because it was pretty nice out and it was right when the sun was going down so it was pretty as well! It took a long time to walk home but it was worth it, an entertaining walk for sure. We then ate dinner with my family before Brianna had to go to the train and go home. I was sad when Brianna had to go, it was a lot of fun to just chill around with her and get to know her a little better, we hadn't met that well before. Brianna was a lot of fun to hang out with though and I hope she comes back sometime soon! Tommy drove us to the train station and then drove me home! Thanks Tommy! I just chilled then and got a good night sleep!

2nd day of Brianna..

A Norweigen horse, cool huh?

So here are some horses...

Me and kind of Caisa with Jalle, Caisa's pony.

Brianna, taking a picture of herself!
Some exciting horse movement stuff, you can kind of see the jumps in this picture!

Brianna is in love with horses, apparently, so that's all she wanted to the whole time she was here. I started the day off with school and today it was my turn to talk to my English class about the USA! Brianna was a little shy and so she didn't want to talk in front of my whole class. It went really good though, I basically got to be teacher for the day and so whatever I wanted to do I got to do :D. I just talked about the US and I thought it would be a lot harder then it was because I talk to these kids everyday and they have already asked a lot of questions about America and so I thought that they would be totally out. However they are actually a really good audience and so I talked for about 70 minutes straight on everything US! It was a lot of fun and I'm glad my English teacher gave me that chance. After school I went home and Brianna and I just chilled for a while! The night before I asked Caisa if we could come and ride with her and she said that it would be fine and so we waited for Caisa to come home from school and then we all went to the stables together. I told myself I wasn't going to ride so I didn't, I like horses and stuff I just am not in love with them like the girls are so I thought I wouldn't try and take away the riding time. They rode in the riding house and we set up some jumps and stuff, it' was pretty fun I was impressed by Caisa's jumping skill and Brianna I knew loved horses so I wasn't impressed when she jumped around too haha. It was fun though, we were in the stables for a few hours and I got a bit more of the horse culture :D. After they rode we did some horse chores and Brianna took my camera and took some horse pictures, she really likes horses. We then just chilled the rest of the night, watched some movies and stuff! It was a good day!
