Yummy birthday soup I think Johanna's mom made.
Riding the bus, these one's are different from the Örebro ones!
Up in a really tall elevator that you can take in Västerås... Fun fun fun...
The view from that elevator :D
Jacqui opening stuff!
The delicious, creamy, cake that we ate right after breakfast, it was awesome.
Breakfast, eggs, bacon, coffee, and toast, unfortunately I ate most of it before I thought of taking the picture :P
The breakfast table :D
The Cake.
Jacqui in bed and stuff :D
Saturday, it was Jacqui's birthday, she's in Sweden, she has an awesome host family so of course we're all going to wake up early and go sing to her! We all went into Jacqui's room and sang and woke her up with a cake and presents. I feel bad still because I didn't get her anything for her birthday but maybe I can hit her up with something the next time I see her. The Sobel's, her host family, sang the birthday song extraordinarily well and I joined in too because I know it and it's a fun song to sing! After that most everybody helped making breakfast, and it was very delicious. After that we had other present time for all of Jacqui's boxes that came from Australia. I think it's cool how the Swedish people get to open their presents as soon as they get them, takes the stress off of present time when everybody is watching you! Jacqui had a few of us watching her though when she opened her presents from Australia. The guys, Rasmus and Graeme, and I watched some funny video's on youtube while the girls were getting ready and then we all went into town together. Rasmus had to get a haircut and so we all went and after the haircut we just walked around a little bit and chilled out, I saw a friend from Örebro, Adam, when we were walking around it was funny. While waiting for the bus Rasmus and I walked up very tiny down escalator for like 15 minutes 1: because it was fun 2: we had to wait for a bus 3: there was no one going on it anyway because if you took the stairs it was like 4 steps and 4: because I hadn't done that since I was a little kid. We took a bus out to visit some of the other exchange students and attempted to bake a cake for the party we were going to later that night. Unfortunately though the girls that had the cake "left it on the bus" and so it never got to the party. After seeing the other exchange student's we got a ride from Rasmus dad to the party for Jacqui and Johanna's birthday! Johanna is Corbin's friend and the party was at her house, this party as also my reason for visiting Västerås in the first place. It was a lot of fun! I met a bunch of kids and had a good time just kinda hanging out with everyone! Thank's Corbin and Johanna for the invite! After the party, Rasmus, Jacqui, Graeme and I walked back to the house and chilled for a little bit before going to sleep. It was a really fun day :D
